On and Off the Needles
Well finished the first pair of fingerless gloves for the Etsy shop. and started on the second. A two color pair with some stranding work. It will be the first time I do something like this so should be interesting to see how I do. Might have to go check out a book from the library to help but hey it's an excuse to get out.
Behind the Wheel
Well spun up some more of the white wool on my drop spindle and even plied it a little bit. Still have to finish the BFL and silk to ply but I look forward to it.
The Write Life
Well the writing is coming a bit slow. But did have some inspiration so that might push me up to the daily word count for Julnowrimo.

Etsy and Writing
Well didn't make 50k words in June but still writing away on the novel while trying to work on an outline for August's Camp Nanowrimo. Also sort of using june's novel for July Nowrimo.
so went whit water rafting, walking in caves in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, along with swimming in the worlds largest hot springs swimming pool. Wouldn't mind going there to swim int he winter with snow falling around me. What a cool thing that would be.
Also my little sister is talking about me doing an Etsy shop again. this time she' putting a little more pressure on me. To try and have 10 things knit up to sell by the first of September. hat, fingerless gloves and scarfs, though mom has also found a vest and shrug pattern. So I am working on the first pair of fingerless gloves with some Lion Brand Sock Ease that we got a t JoAnn's. Then there's more yarn for patterned gloves from the one magazine we got on vacation. nicely enough also got a DVD that shows how to spin up qiviut fur along with silk, yak, and other luxury fibers.

Ughhh
The first half of the second pair of Mom's fingerless gloves
The first half of the first pair.
On and Off the needles
Well finished the second pair of fingerless gloves for mom. And now working on two vests one for me and the other for mom. Mom's seems to be going faster than mine with stockinet stitch but that could be from the knit row purl row. while mine is garter stitch, so row after row of knit stitch.
Behind the Wheel
BFL and silk spun up. Just loved the white and tan.
The green already plied in the fall on my niddy noddy.
The Write Life
Well its' summer. Time for Camp NaNoWriMo again. It's a bit hard with writing Transformer FanFic with my best friends. I'm going to have to put a stop to that. We seem to spend all day doing that. I want to get my 50,000 words in 30 days. and to think I still have vacation with the family along with my knitting and spinning which requires time away from the computer. maybe stop writing at 8 pm. to work on other things. And it does not help that my little Ford Escort will not start. Dad got it a new battery a few weeks ago, the last time it did that. and just thinking about it has me anxious. maybe neighbor will drive me around to run errands, groceries, bank, etc. and was planning on going to library and goodwill to look at books. if I can tear myself away from the computer and walk to the store might be good.

Idea for valentine's day story
Half of mom's fingerless gloves done. Isn't it pretty?
On and Off the Needles
Working on the Wedge socks from Cookie A's book Knit Sock Love for Mom out of Socks that Rock Taos. Also working on a pair of fingerless gloves for her since she said she wanted a pair that is light like mine. She picked out this wonderful yarn with yellows, orange and greens. I did get some longer needles, cause some of the stitches were falling off when I was working on the thumb gusset. And there will be more yarn left over for me to make more pairs and maybe try a few different ideas out.
The Write Life
I was just reading the romance newsletter at Writing.com. It was talking about Valentine's Day of course and talked about what do you do on that do. What do I do I don't have anyone unless you count my family and friends. So I have a story idea I will use to write on Valentine's day. Title: Kill Cupid. Someone sad and depressed but magical who can see Cupid when he comes out and about to do his job of shooting arrows to connect two people. Tries killing Cupid but magical laws allow him to stay alive. So Cupid and the person get to talking about why the person is single and alone.
I had hoped to successfully kill him but then I got to thinking about him having a point of view and some things to tell my protagonist and maybe in a way me.

Snowed In
This photo was taken yesterday. Of course we got more over night and someone had shoveled it in between then and today.
And here is a picture of my niece wearing her finished poncho.
With the weather I am staying in cooking, baking and knitting.

Happy 2012
Well my holiday was very nice got a shirt some new Wii games, a new camera, some books socks candy etc for Christmas. And before the new year I got a job of sorts, taking care of neighbor: wake up, take medicine drive to appointments. on the plus side since his daughter owns a cafe we get free meals there.
On and Off the Needles
I finished my niece's poncho just in time for a Christmas present. So now I am starting on a crocheted tote bag, not too hard so far, sc, sc all the way at the moment.
Behind the wheel
The spinning wheel has been moved out of the way for the moving of furniture and the Christmas tree might move it back next weekend.
The Write Life
One of the books I got for Christmas was Self Editing for Fiction Writers so I've been reading it and looking at various stories I have worked on, my fantasies, and mystery for NaNoWriMo.
Also been working on the idea of a sequel to Forest of Flowers, the fantasy I wrote in July.
