So it's NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) time again. 50,000 words in 30 days. Halfway through and I am behind at 8008 words but I am slowly catching up. Not going to say what my novel about. Will say it's sort of a fantasy romance. But I have ideas and a whole big cast, and blustery weather to write about. ( blustery means it is happening to me here and now which means it happens to my characters. Heck i've given them ice storms, snowstorms and power outages in years past. I write the book therefore I am their god.)
On and Off the Needles
Still working on my nieces poncho. Got another circular needle to work the other half. So I can figure out how it is going to work. Next time I agree to something like this I am going to go look at patterns with whoever is receiving the knit object. but it does look nice but you would think if i started it months ago shouldn't it be finished by now or before now.
Behind the wheel
Okay I am angry and frustrated. I blame it on the economy and some of the knitters in the area. Two shops both within walking distance of each other and the one sells it's knitting stuff to someone else. I happened to love the Twisted Ewe's knitting stuff. I like Diva but I have great memories of knitting and spinning and talking with Pat in the Twisted Ewe. And now they are just needlework and cross-stitch. Bah. Good thing the next knitting group is within walking distance if I lose my temper with them I can just stomp off home.
